Fuelling careers in our region

The opportunity to learn a trade with a local company was a major drawcard for Max Jones and Dominic Grocott who joined the Apollo Apprenticeship Program in 2022.

Max always wanted to be a boilermaker, and his apprenticeship with Apollo has allowed him to pursue his career ambitions while staying in his hometown of Young. While Max’s fellow apprentice Dominic Grocott, who is also from Young, applied for an apprenticeship after developing an interest in metalwork at school.

Max and Dominic have had the exciting opportunity to work on landmark projects, including the Sirius Building, Barangaroo Pier Pavilion and the Australian War Memorial Annex.
