The Menangle Paceway is Australia’s premier harness racing and events destination and is home to the richest harness race in the world. The state of the art ‘Smoken Up Race Stalls’ accommodate up to 108 horses and include an all ages viewing platform, enhancing the visitor experience at Menangle race meet events.

State of the art Harness Racing Stalls
Apollo supplied the 200 tonne structural steel package for the stables, enhancing the original central column design by upgrading to a double column design, utilising purpose built RHS columns. This design change enhanced not only the engineering elements of the project but also improved the visual aesthetics of the facility. A 3 coat micaceous Iron Oxide (MIO) paint system was used throughout the whole facility, ensuring outstanding durability and abrasion resistance.
