The redevelopment of the Northern Grandstand of the Sydney Cricket Ground took into careful consideration both its past and future. A new way for sport to be enjoyed at the SCG, the stand creates an immersive experience for patrons, blending the lines between indoor and outdoor, allowing visitors to flow between bars and dining areas without losing connection to the field and event.

Creating a new immersive experience for SCG patrons
Apollo supplied the structural rakers for Level 2 of the grandstand, which encompasses the MA Noble, Don Bradman and Dally Messenger Stands, seating 13,000. The architecturally exposed steel enhances the indoor/outdoor patron experience, a key element in the vision for the redevelopment, while also supporting the additional seating on the next level of the grandstand.
