Apollo are excited to continue our partnership with Hindmarsh to deliver EC5 & EC6, the next stages of the CDC Eastern Creek development. Having delivered EC4 together in 2022, securing the next stage is a true testament to Apollo’s quality and reliability as a large scale structural steel fabricator.
The project includes the supply, delivery and install of 2,000 tonnes of steel, comprising 1,400 tonnes of structural steel and 600 tonnes of grating, covering 11,000m2. The scope of the project includes chiller decks, roof steel, generator farms, link bridges, stairs, handrails and balustrades, and much more.
The CDC data centres at Eastern Creek enable the delivery of national critical infrastructure technology programs. These programs underpin the security, social and economic wellbeing of all Australians. With the completion of EC5 & 6, this campus will be one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere.
EC5 is nearing the end of delivery, expected in the next couple of months. EC6 will begin construction shortly, with delivery over the next 9 months.
